amandaRdewitt.com
This is a site I started when I was anticipating applying for teaching positions. I also wanted a place that would never outgrow its name. Nope, not even when I got married. 😉
Pink Toast
This was a place I created when I felt like my current site was too restricting. I wanted to write a little more raw and real.
Teacher List
This site was started due to my love of lists and my teacher status. I figured I would want to start recommending some teacher items and maybe make an income from the site. So far there are about 3 posts. Woops.
Teacher Voice
This is the site that is least started of them all. There’s really nothing to it yet, but it was born out of a deep sense that I needed to find my teacher voice. I developed it over my first year, but I know it will be an ongoing process.
Diary of a Semi-Health Nut (archives)
This was where it all started. I saw the movie Julie + Julia and was convinced I was going to start a blog and become a famous writer. Didn’t quite happen like that, but it really led me to where I am now.
I wrote about becoming a runner, baking, and balancing it all. At times I was super into fitness and healthy things, and other times it was all about the S’mores Cookie Dough Pie.
This blog led to loads of learning, mistakes, blogging friends, and an introduction to the world of paid sponsorship and social media. Friends, this blog was started before Twitter was really a thing. Instagram was brand new and Facebook wasn’t taking over the world.
Amanda Loves Blogging (archives)
Yeah, I started a blog about blogging. For a couple of years I used this site to promote my blog makeover services. I had a lot of fun helping out some blogging friends and getting to use my creativity (and obsession of starting blogs).
I’m still open to doing makeovers, so hit me up if you want to start one yourself! dewitt a 87 [at] yahoo [dot] com. (<-weird formatting helps avoid spammers)
Wedding Blog (archives)
Did you guess that I created this for our wedding? Well look at you, Nancy Drew. (I just giggled at my own joke)
The I Love Project
This was a blog I started after my food and fitness blog above. I felt the need to start loving my life. To be more appreciative. To break away from the fit foodie style blog I had previously created. Unfortunately, I let this domain expire before archiving its contents. I didn’t really know that was a thing.
Clearly I like starting blogs and writing.
I also like coffee. Cheers.
