I Actually Pay to Use Canva (affiliate)

I actually pay to use Canva. They have amazing free images, but I wanted the good stuff.

Why I Love Canva:

  • Awesome images
  • So user friendly I can do it
  • Tons of templates
  • Great for social media–specific templates for each platform
  • Pre-made graphics for holidays and/or good causes

Things the paid Canva version has that I wanted:

  • More expansive catalogue of images
  • Different templates
  • Saving your brand template
  • Editing template sizes
  • Making the background transparent
  • I was basically tired of finding a really pretty image and realizing it cost money or it was part of the pro package

I found out that Canva has an affiliate link, so I started linking that shit all over this site. Because almost all of my images (aside from ones of me or my cats) are made there. All of those basic bitch coffee mugs and headphones and desktop images. I love them so much.

Besides the generally pretty images I can find, they also create pre-made graphics supporting good causes. Recently there was a whole batch of pride month images. And a few Juneteenth ones. Good stuff.

They just have quality design. That makes me feel fancy.

Also the referral link on my site is super intriguing: https://www.canva.com/join/genuine-claw-shops

Seriously, Canva, why are you so weird and awesome?

So…if you want to start using Canva, use my link! K Thanks!

Update to add: info about the Canva rewards here. I think this means that I get a credit to buy an image. So, $1. Ha!

Hi! I’m Amanda R. DeWitt.

I'm a teacher, cat mom, wife to a bearded gentleman, and coffee junkie. I've always secretly wanted to be an author (or not so secretly--I've started 8 other blogs). This is my space to practice. It's not all great. It doesn't all make sense. But I'm doing it anyways. I'm happy you're here. :) Read More…
